Make African food with a home cook

I’m an African foodie. I was born in Ghana, raised in South Africa, and am now a food nomad who enjoys making dishes from across Africa. I’ve always enjoyed cooking for people. Being raised in a Ghanaian home, I’m well versed with dishes from West Africa. I’ve also learned a lot about East African food from traveling through that region.

Join me at my home for a fun evening, combining African food, great company, and music. Cape Town is a phenomenal city with an incredible mix of cultures. Unfortunately, many visitors to our beautiful city leave without experiencing the taste of traditional homemade African food, let alone learning to how to make it. We’ll meet you with a local snack and drink. I’ll then guide you through the process of making some of the simpler parts of the meal, and show you the ingredients that are used to make it, as well as tell you the history of food from different parts of Africa. The dishes will be from either South Africa, East Africa, or West Africa. After cooking, we’ll eat our meal together.
